Horizon Health Network selects Infonetica’s Research Flow platform to unify research management across funding, ethics, governance and clinical trials
LONDON, UK / FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK – 31st October
Horizon Health Network, one of Atlantic Canada’s largest integrated health authorities, has selected Infonetica’s Research Flow platform to connect and streamline its research administration – spanning funding applications, contracts, ethics reviews, institutional approvals, and clinical trial management.
The initiative will bring together all research-related activities under one coordinated digital framework, improving transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across Horizon’s hospitals and research centres in New Brunswick.
“We're excited about this partnership with Infonetica. It's an important step forward in supporting our research teams with modern, connected systems that make it easier for investigators to focus on what matters most - conducting high-quality studies that improve care for the people we serve.”
Jennifer Sheils, Vice President, Transformation & Chief Innovation Officer at Horizon Health Network
Strengthening coordination and oversight
Research Flow enables organisations to manage the full lifecycle of research within a single system – linking funding, contracts, ethics, institutional approvals, and clinical trials. By aligning these processes, research offices and hospital departments gain clearer oversight, stronger governance, and faster, more coordinated study activation.
“We’re pleased to partner with Horizon Health Network. Research Flow will help Horizon’s teams to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate research impact. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to driving innovation in research management and improving outcomes for patients and communities.”
Amer Latif, SVP, Growth & Partnerships at Infonetica
Built for Canadian research environments

Across Canada, more than 100 hospitals and universities use Infonetica systems – including those within Clinical Trials Ontario and Research Manitoba – to manage ethics, governance, and clinical research activities.
“Horizon’s adoption of Research Flow represents a significant step towards a more connected and forward-thinking research environment in Canada. By modernising how research is coordinated and governed, Horizon is helping shape a model for faster, more collaborative clinical research.”
