The role:

Lead & Inspire – Coach a squad of 4‑6 engineers, fostering an inclusive, high‑trust culture where everyone does their best work.

Shape Product Strategy – Partner with the Product Manager and Designer in discovery: interview users, validate hypotheses, run experiments, and translate insights into winning solutions.

Own Technical Direction – Make pragmatic architecture decisions across our stack (.NET C#, React, TypeScript, SQL/No‑SQL, Azure) and champion DevOps‑as‑code with Terraform/Bicep.

Raise the Bar – Drive engineering excellence through pair‑programming, design reviews, and continuous refactoring. Introduce practices that improve reliability, performance, and developer happiness.

Ship Value Continuously – Break big bets into thin slices, uphold CI/CD, monitor in production, and iterate based on data.

Grow People – Mentor engineers in both technical depth and product thinking; give clear, empathetic feedback and celebrate wins.

Collaborate Beyond Engineering – Communicate trade‑offs to stakeholders, demo work to customers, and contribute to go‑to‑market conversations when your insight adds value.

Core skills and experience:

Proven leadership of an engineering team building user‑facing products (minimum 2 years as Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Engineering Manager).

Expertise in our core stack:

o   Data: relational(SQL Server) and No‑SQL (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB)

o   Cloud: Microsoft Azure

o   Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform and/or Bicep, automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Product mindset – you care about outcomes over output, are comfortable with ambiguity, and can articulate why technical choices matter for users.

Excellent communication – clear, concise, and compelling in both written and verbal forms; able to tailor depth to audience.

Hands‑on coding ability – you still enjoy jumping into the codebase and leading by example.
